| It is with profound sadness that the members of the Lionville Fire Company extend our deepest condolences to the family of Mark Miller, the members of the West Whiteland Fire Company, the leadership and employees of East Goshen Township, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Mark Miller, 66. (January 9, 1960 – July 19, 2026) was the embodiment of selfless service, dedication, and community spirit. Whether serving as East Goshen Township's long-time Director of Public Works, leading and mentoring countless employees, or answering the call as a dedicated firefighter and leader at West Whiteland Fire Company, Mark devoted his life to making his community stronger, safer, and better for everyone around him.
Mark's leadership was not measured by titles, but by his unwavering commitment to helping others, his willingness to tackle any challenge, and the respect he earned from all who worked alongside him. Through his vision and dedication, he helped build and shape one of the finest Public Works departments in the region, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to serve East Goshen Township for generations.
In the fire service, Mark's contributions were equally remarkable. As a Past Chief Officer and current Vice President of the West Whiteland Fire Company, he exemplified the values of courage, integrity, and brotherhood. His decades of service and strong attention to detail were his signature.
Today, we mourn the loss of a friend, and a devoted public servant. Yet we also celebrate a life lived with purpose, honor, and an enduring commitment to others. Mark's impact can be seen on the roads we travel, the community he helped build, the firefighters he mentored, and the many lives he influenced along the way.
