Engine and Tanker Assist to Brush Fire

On Monday, April 3rd at 12:34 PM, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to assist The West Whiteland Fire Company and mutual aid units with a large brush fire in the area of the Exton Train Station.
Fire crews were battling a brush fire that was engulfing a 200 by 100 foot area, and rapidly spreading.
Engine 47-2 and Engine 47-5 responded to the scene, manpower from both engines assisted with fire suppression and overhaul of the area, while Engine 47-5 supplied water to Engine 6-2.
