Afternoon Vehicle Fire

On Monday, August 2nd, just after 1:30PM, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to the Giant Food Store Parking Lot in Uwchlan Township for a reported vehicle fire. Supplemental information indicated that a trailers brakes were on fire, and spreading to equipment on the trailer.
Deputy 47 quickly arrived and confirmed the report.
Engine 47-5 arrived shortly thereafter, crews deployed a hand line and began extinguishing the flames.
Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for 45 minutes.
