1 Trapped In West Pikeland

On Wednesday, March 10th at 7:26PM, Uwchlan Ambulance was dispatched to the intersection of Davis Road and Upper Pine Creek Road in West Pikeland Township for an automobile accident. The West Pikeland Township Police Department arrived, and found one subject trapped in the vehicle.
At 7:31PM, The Lionville Fire Company was now dispatched to assist. Rescue 47 arrived and confirmed that one subject was trapped in a vehicle that was off the roadway on its side. Crews went to work stabilizing the vehicle, and then removed the windshield to allow Uwchlan Ambulance to access the patient.
The rear hatchback of the vehicle was then removed in order to free the subject.
Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for approximately an hour before clearing.
