Tuesday, August 5th proved to be a busy day for The Volunteers of The Lionville Fire Company. As the area received multiple inches of rain from Tropical Storm Isaiah, Chester County quickly became busy for first responders.

Crews responded to 21 emergencies throughout the day and night due to the storm, including water rescues, fire alarms, and incidents involving power lines.

As cleanup and power outages from the storm continues, we remind our community to utilize generators in a safe fashion, and not put them into any closed spaces, or inside your residence. Do not approach any downed electrical wires, and do not drive around any barriers or through any flooded roadways.
