| At 4:16am Kimberton Fire Co. (61) along with the first alarm assignment was dispatched to the National Guard Armory for a working building fire. Units arrived with heavy smoke and fire from the second floor of a large commercial building. Tower 47 was requested as part of the second alarm assignment.
Tower 47 (FF B. Edwards) arrived and went to work forcing the interior doors to gain access to the classrooms, while the rest of the crew threw ground ladders. Multiple fires were found throughout the building, which made fire suppression difficult. The crew from the Tower was then sent to the roof to open up. Fire found it way between the steel roof and the roofs insulation seal.
