| This Sunday the Lionville Fire Company hosted a Task Force Training Day. We acquired 3 large commercial buildings to train in before being slated for demolition. The purpose of the drill was to get all of the companies in the Chester County Taskforce to train together. The Montgomery County taskforce also made an appearance in Lionville. Crews were paired up together and trained on multiple different areas including Search and Rescue, R.I.T. Operations, Vehicle Rescue, Hose Line Management, Commercial Roof Ventilation, Wall Breaching, and Technical Rescue Operations.
This gave crews time to come up with new ways as well as practicing old techniques of completing these tasks. All crews worked together well to get the job done efficiently. Thanks to all the companies that attend.
