| Just after 3am Lionville was alerted to assist Ludwig's Fire Co. (73) on Bryan Wynd Drive for a reported House Fire. Chief 73 (Guth) responded and was advised of a deck on fire to the rear of the residence. Upon Chief 73's arrival onscene he reported heavy fire from the rear of the house and assumed "Bryan Wynd Command".
Engine 47-2 (Lt. Salinsky) arrived as the second due engine company and stretched an 1" 3/4 line to the second floor while the crew from Engine 73-2 had a line on the first floor. Due to the amount of fire on all floors the interior crews were pulled out minutes later.
After evacuating the building master stream operations were started on all sides of the structure. After battling the fire for an hour the fire was brought under control with all hands working for overhaul.
Crews operated for 5 hours on scene.
