Engine Runs Car Fire

Just before 8pm, the company was dispatched, along with Ambulance 87 (Uwchlan), to Worthington road west of Newcomen road for and auto accident with fire. Engine 47-2, Rescue 47, Deputy (Chapman) and Assistant 47(Garver) responded within seconds to the call. Assistant 47 arrived first with a vehicle on its side with the engine compartment on fire. Engine 47-2 arrived shortly after pulling the front bumper line to extinguish the fire. The crew made a quick knock on the fire. After overhauling the car the crews returned available. Lionville operated for 30 minutes.
