Car into a Garage
By Firefighter Robert Edwards
November 20, 2008
Just after 2pm, the company was dispatched to an odor investigation inside, on Northwood Drive in Uwchlan Township. The Chester County Fireboard advised Chief 47 that the homeowner had crashed their car into the side of the garage, and that their was an odor of smoke in the residence. The Chief arrived minutes later confirming the report.
Engine 47-4's crew checked the residence for any fire hazards. A small smoldering fire was found under the vehicle in the garage. Units operated on scene for 45 minutes before returning available.
