Rescue 47

Rescue 47 is a 1998 Pierce Lance Heavy Rescue.  It is equipped with a Detroit Diesel Series 60 engine, with an Allison automatic transmission.  Rescue 47 is first out on all motor vehicle accidents in the first due, and first out on all Rapid Intervention mutual aid responses.  In addition, Rescue 47 serves as one of the lead pieces of apparatus for technical rope rescue - supporting the Chester County Rescue Taskforce.  There is seating for 8, with Scott 45 minute SCBA for 7. 

Rescue 47 is also certified a QRS unit by the PA Department of Health.
