1998 Pierce Lance Walk-Around Heavy Rescue

Rescue 47 is a 1998 Pierce Lance Heavy Rescue equipped with a 505 horsepower 12.7L Detroit Diesel series 60 inline-6 diesel engine and an Allison 3000 series automatic transmission. Rescue 47 is first out on all motor vehicle accidents and Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) responses. Rescue 47 is also equipped with a large cache of cutting edge rope rescue and rope access equipment in participation with the Chester County Rescue Task Force; this piece is the first out for technical rescue incidents. Rescue 47 is also a certified QRS unit by the PA Department of Health. Seating for 8 with 7 Scott 45 minute SCBA.
