| The Lionville Fire Company and its Operational Officers are proud to announce that on Tuesday August 11th, at the monthly company meeting, Probationary Firefighter Isabella Vallone was approved for release from probation and was promoted to Interior Firefighter!
Firefighter Vallone was required to complete our rigorous in-house training program, alongside the 188-hour Firefighter 1 National Certification, and the 44-hour Vehicle Rescue Technician Certification, as well as a presentation on a study of a past line of duty death of a firefighter to promote and understand the dangers of the job ahead. Firefighter Vallone joined the company in March of 2024 with no prior experience and was actively navigating life through the Downingtown STEM academy through junior and senior year and a part-time job. Isabella will be attending Widener University in the fall with the Class of 2030 to pursue a career in nursing!
The company would like to congratulate Isabella on all her hard work autonomously working through herself the program and wish her well in her beginnings as a firefighter and her studies at Widener!
Congrats Bella! |
