By Lionville Fire Company
June 26, 2025

On Thursday, June 26th, at 7:31PM, as a round of storms moved through the area, The Lionville Fire Company (47) along with The West Whiteland Fire Company (6), Minquas Fire Company (46), Alert Fire Company (45), East Brandywine Fire Company (49), and Uwchlan EMS (87) were dispatched to the 900 block of Jessica Terrence in Uwchlan Township for a reported house on fire. Engine 47-2 and Tower 47 quickly responded, and were advised by The Chester County 911 Center of flames coming from the roof of the residence.

Engine 47-2 and Tower 47 arrived to find flames engulfing the attic and roof of the home. A “Working Fire Dispatch” was requested bringing in additional help from The Ludwigs Corner Fire Company (73), and Minquas Fire Company EMS (46). Firefighters began working to extinguish the flames. As additional personnel arrived, crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control.

The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Chester County Fire Marshals Office, Uwchlan Township Fire Marshals Office, and The Uwchlan Township Police Department. There were no injuries reported.

Our thoughts and prayers are with those affected by this incident.

Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for 3 hours.
