On Thursday, May 1st at 12:22 PM, The Lionville Fire Company along with Minquas EMS were dispatched to the intersection of North Pottstown Pike and Worthington Drive in Uwchlan Township for a reported automobile accident. The Chester County 911 Center was receiving multiple calls advising of a two-vehicle accident with injuries. Assistant 47 arrived to find one subject trapped in a vehicle, and established command of the incident.

Rescue 47 arrived moments later, crews stabilized the vehicle and cut the driver's door off of the vehicle in order to free the patient. The patient was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.

Lionville volunteers operated at the scene for an hour.
