On Wednesday, May 7th, The Lionville Fire Company (47) was dispatched at 5:47am to assist The Ludwig’s Corner Fire Company (73), along with other mutual aid for a house fire in the 2400 block of Flowing Springs Road in West Vincent Township. Battalion 47 arrived to find smoke and fire evident from a single-family home, and established command of the incident. Crews from Rescue 47 and Engine 47-5 entered the structure to assist with extinguishing the fire on the second floor. Engine 47-5 also assisted with water supply, as there were no nearby fire hydrants.

Lionville Volunteers operated for over 2 hours at the scene.
