On Wednesday, March 2nd, at 4:51am, The Lionville Fire Company (47) along with The West Whiteland Fire Company (6), Minquas Fire Company (46), Ludwigs Corner Fire Company (73), East Brandywine Fire Company (49), and Uwchlan Ambulance (87) were dispatched to the unit block of North Pottstown Pike in Uwchlan Township for a reported building fire.

Initial reports indicated that something was on fire against the structure, with the smoke and odor traveling into the building.

Engine 47-2 arrived and determined that the exterior mulch bed was on fire. The assignment was scaled back to just Lionville, and crews quickly extinguished the flames before any damage to the structure could take place.

The Lionville Fire Company operated on scene for 30 minutes.
