On Thursday, December 9th at 10:41AM, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to the intersection of Route 113 and Horseshoe Trail Road in West Pikeland Township for a reported dump truck on fire. The Chester County 911 center was receiving conflicting information about the location of the incident, so moments before, The Kimberton Fire Company (61) was also dispatched to a separate location.

Deputy 47 confirmed the location of the fire to be at Route 113 and Horseshoe Trail Road. Engine 47-5 and Rescue 61 arrived, and crews began extinguishing the flames. The fire was quickly brought under control.

Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for just under an hour.
