On Tuesday, November 30th shortly after 9PM, The Lionville Fire Company along with Uwchlan Ambulance were dispatched to the 700 block of N Whitford Road in Uwchlan Township for an automobile accident. Rescue 47 and MICU 87-1 immediately responded to the scene. While units were enroute, supplemental information was received reporting an occupant in the vehicle to be unconscious. Upon arrival the determination was made to extricate the patient from the car using hydraulic vehicle rescue tools. The patient was extricated after a quick removal of the drivers side front and rear door.

The Lionville Volunteers operated on scene for about 30 minutes.
