On Tuesday, May 4th at 8:38PM, The Lionville Fire Company and Uwchlan Ambulance were dispatched to the intersection of Byers Road and East Township Line Road in Upper Uwchlan Township, for an auto accident reported with entrapment.

Engine 47-2 was at a community event and immediately responded, along with Chief 47 and Assistant 47. Upon arrival of responding units, it was confirmed that the vehicle was over turned with a subject trapped inside. The crew from Engine 47-2 began working on stabilization of the vehicle and began removing the drivers door. Rescue 47, Engine 47-5, and Squad 47 arrived moments later and assisted with extrication.

47 Fire Police assisted with traffic control.

The patient was transported to a hospital for treatment.

Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for 30 minutes before clearing the scene.
