On Friday, August 7th, Lionville Volunteers were kept busy responding to 9 calls throughout the day.

The day began at 8:56AM when the company was dispatched to the 600 block of Stockton Drive in Uwchlan Township for a fire alarm. Crews determined the alarm was set off due to construction in the building.

2:01PM - Lionville is dispatched as the Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) to assist The Kimberton Fire Company in the 1200 block of Hares Hill Road in East Pikeland Township with a house fire. Firefighters from Kimberton quickly mitigated the incident, and Lionville was recalled.

5:00PM - Lionville and Uwchlan Ambulance are dispatched to the unit block of Founders Way in Upper Uwchlan Township for a Carbon Monoxide Detector Activation.

5:33PM - Lionville and Uwchlan Ambulance are dispatched to the 1700 block of Chantilly Lane in West Pikeland Township for a Carbon Monoxide Detector Activation.

5:36PM - Lionville and mutual aid are dispatched for a house fire at a second residence in the 1700 block of Chantilly Lane in West Pikeland Township. Crews arrived to find that the house had been struck by lightening, and a small fire in the basement had been extinguished by the homeowner.

5:37PM - Lionville is dispatched to a fire alarm in the 100 block of Sheree Blvd in Uwchlan Township, due to crews operating on multiple other calls, The Minquas Fire Company is dispatched to assist.

5:39PM - Lionville is dispatched to a fire alarm in the 200 block of Eagleview Blvd in Uwchlan Township, due to crews operating on multiple other calls, The Alert Fire Company is dispatched to assist.

5:54PM - As crews are operating on Chantilly Lane, Lionville is dispatched to assist the Ludwigs Corner Fire Company in the 500 block of Foxclove Circle in Upper Uwchlan Township for a house fire. Initial arriving units found smoke showing from a house after it was struck by lightening with a fire in the attic. Lionville assisted mutual aid crews with roof ventilation, fire attack, and overhaul of the structure.

7:32PM - As Lionville Volunteers are returning from Foxclove circle, the company is dispatched to the 200 block of Eagleview Blvd in Uwchlan Township for a fire alarm.
