On Wednesday, December 25th at 10:16PM, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to the 900 block of Drovers Lane in West Pikeland Township for a reported car fire in the driveway of the residence. Battalion 47 arrived to find one vehicle well involved in fire.

Engine 47-2 arrived, crews stretched a hose line and began extinguishing the fire. Engine 47-5 then arrived, and supplied Engine 47-2 with water. The fire was quickly extinguished.

As crews were back at the station cleaning up from the car fire, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to the 1000 block of Bodine Road for an Odor Investigation Outside. Engine 47-2, Engine 47-5, and Tower 47 quickly responded. Crews arrived in the area and determined the odor was from the previous car fire.

Lionville Volunteers were back available shortly before midnight.
