On Sunday, December 15th at 3:10PM, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to assist The Ludwigs Corner Fire Company along with The Glen Moore Fire Company and Uwchlan Ambulance to the 1100 block of Donovan Way in Upper Uwchlan Township for a reported house fire.

The Chester County 911 center began receiving multiple calls, and an officer from The Upper Uwchlan Township Police Department arrived and confirmed a working fire.

The Working Fire Dispatch was alerted adding The Minquas Fire Company and The West Whiteland Fire Company.

Engine 47-2 arrived, crews quickly stretched hose lines and began extinguishing the fire. As additional companies arrived, crews worked together to ensure that the fire did not extend any further into the house and also assisted with searches, ensuring that the family dog made it out safely as well.
