On Thursday, November 21st as crews were returning from our weekly drill night, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to assist The Downingtown Fire Department at 20:58 for a reported house fire in the 200 block of Downing Road In East Caln Township.

Engine 47-2, Engine 47-5, and Tower 47 quickly responded. Reports indicated that a vehicle was on fire in the attached garage.

Engine 47-2 arrived and crews stretched hose lines to begin extinguishing the fire. As additional companies arrived, crews worked together to ensure that the fire did not extend into the house and also assisted with rescuing the families two dogs.

Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for just over an hour.
