On Saturday, October 19th at 5:43 AM, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to 314.1 East Bound on The Pennsylvania Turnpike for a car fire. Uwchlan Ambulance had been previously dispatched for an injured person after an auto accident. Upon arrival of MICU 87-1, they found the vehicle on fire.

Battalion 47, Engine 47-2, and Engine 47-5 arrived on the scene and were able to quickly extinguish the fire.

Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for just under one hour.
