On August 8th, around 1pm, Lionville Fire Company, along with Uwchlan Ambulance, were dispatched to the intersection of Route 100 and Pennsylvania Ave, for an auto accident with entrapment. Crews from Rescue 47, Engine 47-5, Engine 47-2 and Uwchlan Ambulance worked together to extricate one patient from a vehicle that had rolled over. Units used the "Jaws of Life" to cut away parts of the vehicle to safely make a pathway to remove the patient from the wreckage. Upper Uwchlan Police, along with Eagle Service Center, were on scene to assist with the Auto Accident.
