On Sunday, July 28th at 10:00 PM, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to assist The East Whiteland Fire Company at 314.6 West Bound on the Pennsylvania Turnpike for a serious auto accident.

Engine 47-2 and Rescue 47 responded along with Chief 47 and Battalion 47. Due to the injuries of one of the patients an aeromedical helicopter was requested to fly to the scene.

Engine 47-2 and Chief 47 established a landing zone at the Downingtown Interchange for JeffStat3 while Rescue 47 and Battalion 47 responded to the accident scene to assist with manpower.
