On Tuesday, June 4th at 1:44am, The Lionville Volunteers were dispatched to assist The Ludwigs Corner Fire Company in West Vincent Township for an Apartment Building Fire.

Reports indicated that fire was evident from the top floor and roof of the building.

Tower 47, Engine 47-2, and Engine 47-5 responded to the scene. Upon arrival, Tower 47 set up for master stream operations. Engine 47-2 secured a water supply while crews deployed attack lines. Engine 47-5 assisted with water supply by boosting the fire hydrant to obtain additional pressure.

While crews were operating at this incident. A second house fire was dispatched to the unit block of Woodland Drive in Uwchlan Township. Cover companies quickly responded and determined that a small fire had already been extinguished prior to their arrival.

Lionville Volunteers operated in West Vincent Township for 5 hours before clearing the scene.

Our thoughts and prayers are with everyone effected by this fire. Including 3 fellow firefighters from The Ludwigs Corner Fire Company who resided in the building.

Special thank you to Paoli Fire Company and Modena Fire Company Station 37 for standing by in our district while we operated at the fire.
