On Saturday, August 8th at 3:28 PM The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to a house fire in Caln Township to assist The Thorndale Fire Company along with other mutual aid companies as the Rapid Intervention Team (RIT). Rescue 47 arrived and crews began assisting with laddering the building, securing utilities, clearing out window sashes to allow for firefighter egress and stood-by in case of any firefighter emergencies.

Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for one hour.
