On Sunday, January 22nd at 2:35 PM The Lionville Fire Company along with Uwchlan Ambulance (87) were dispatched to Lionville Station Road and Valley Road in West Pikeland Township for a reported water rescue.

Chief 47, Deputy 47, and MICU 87-4 quickly responded and were advised by The Chester County 911 center, that one vehicle had crashed off the roadway and went into a pond. Units arrived and found that the vehicle was in a shallow stream. Engine 47-2 arrived with water rescue personnel, and crews were able to assist the driver out of the vehicle unharmed.

Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for 30 minutes.
