On Thursday, January 5th, Lionville Volunteers traveled to The West Chester Fire Training Center to train on firefighter survival and search and rescue. Members practiced searching a 5 story building, made up of different types of environments, including residential and commercial.

Crews also practiced going through the confidence maze. This maze is designed to simulate different situations a firefighter may find themselves in, including tight spaces, getting caught on wires, holes in floors, etc.
