On Saturday June 18th, at 8:17am, The Lionville Fire Company along with The Ludwigs Corner Fire Company (73), East Brandywine Fire Company (49), Fame Fire Company (53), and Uwchlan Ambulance (87) were dispatched to the 400 block of Carpenters Cove Lane in Upper Uwchlan Township for a house fire. Deputy 47 made and the response and was advised by The Chester County 911 Center that smoke could be seen coming from a house, and it was unknown if anyone was inside and that The Upper Uwchlan Police Department advised that they had a heavy column of smoke visible from a mile away. Due to the updated information, Deputy 47 requested the "Working Fire Dispatch", which alerted The Kimberton Fire Company (61), Malvern Fire Company (4), and The West Whiteland Fire Company (6). Deputy 47 arrived on scene with fire showing from the second story of the house.

Engine 47-2 and Tower 47 arrived simultaneously, while the crew from Engine 47-2 began extinguishing the flames, the crew from the tower began an aggressive primary search for any victims that may have been inside.

As mutual aid companies arrived, they assisted Lionville Volunteers with fire suppression and overhaul of the structure.

Thankfully, there was no one inside the residence and there were no injuries reported. Our thoughts and prayers are with the homeowners.

Special thank you to The Honey Brook Fire Company #1 for covering our territory while crews operated at this incident.
