On Sunday, May 29th at 2:43 AM, The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to the unit block of Devon Drive in Uwchlan Township for an automatic fire alarm. The Uwchlan Township Police Department arrived and found smoke showing from the building. The assignment was immediately upgraded to a building fire, bringing additional manpower from The West Whiteland Fire Company (6), Fame Fire Company (53), and Uwchlan Ambulance (87).

Engine 47-2 arrived and found a vending machine on fire inside the building. The fire was quickly extinguish, bringing the situation under control.

Lionville Volunteers operated at the scene for an hour before clearing.
