Beginning the evening of April 2nd, Lionville Volunteers were kept busy as storms and high winds moved through the area.

April 2nd:

At 9:25 PM The Lionville Fire Company and Engine 8-2 (Keystone Valley Fire Department - Banquet Standby) were dispatched to the area of Heritage Lane and Surrey Way in Uwchlan Township for a reported BBQ Grill on fire. Engine 8-2 arrived and crews found a normal operating grill, with no fire company services needed.

At 11:06 PM, Engine 8-2 was dispatched to the 100 block of Sheree Blvd in Uwchlan Township for a fire alarm. Engine 8-2 arrived and found the cause of the alarm to be a power outage in the area.

Shortly after clearing from the previous fire alarm, Engine 8-2 responded to Buckingham Drive and Tudor Lane in Upper Uwchlan Township for a reported unknown type fire. Crews searched the area but were unable to locate the original source of the flames.

At 12AM The Lionville Fire Company went back into service and Engine 8-2 was released. We thank them for standing by for us, so our members could enjoy our annual banquet.

April 3rd:

6:14AM - Engine 47-2 responded to the 500 block of Park Road in Upper Uwchlan Township for wires down.

6:43 AM - Engine 47-2 responded to Route 401 and Lower Pine Creek Road for wires down.

7:17 AM - Engine 47-2 and Squad 47 responded to assist Uwchlan EMS (87) with a cardiac arrest.
