On Friday, March 25th at 5:01 PM, The Lionville Fire Company, along with The West Whiteland Fire Company (6), Uwchlan Ambulance (87), and The Fame Fire Company (53) were dispatched to the 200 block of Woodward Drive in Uwchlan Township for a reported house fire. Assistant 47, Engine 47-2, and Ambulance 87-3 quickly responded and were advised that a bush in the rear of the residence had caught on fire and was now spreading to the house.

Engine 47-2 arrived and deployed an attack line to the rear of the house. Thankfully, a quick acting homeowner was able to safely extinguish the flames prior to our arrival. Tower 47 and Engine 6-1 arrived and crews worked to insure the fire was completely out.

Lionville Volunteers operated for about an hour at the scene.
