On Wednesday March 23rd, at 2:40 PM The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to the 100 block of Granite Lane in Upper Uwchlan Township for a brush fire. Chief 47 and Engine 47-2 quickly responded and were advised by The Chester County 911 Center, that supplemental reports were indicating a large area of brush on fire that was rapidly spreading due to the windy conditions.

Chief 47 arrived with a large area of brush on fire and requested Brush 73 (Ludwigs Corner Fire Company) and Brush 6 (West Whiteland Fire Company) to assist. Crews worked quickly to bring the fire under control.

Lionville Volunteers operated on scene for almost 2 hours.

Special thank you to the Ludwigs Corner Fire Company and The West Whiteland Fire Company for their assistance.
