Apartment Building Fire

On December 6th at 12:18 PM, the Lionville Fire Company was dispatched for Engine 47-5 to assist the Downingtown Fire Department with a reported apartment building on fire. Engine 46-1 (Minquas Fire Company) quickly arrived on scene with smoke showing and crews deployed a attack line to the third floor. Deputy 45 (Alert Fire Company) arrived on scene and requested the working fire dispatch which added an additional engine from Lionville (47) and two engines from the West Whiteland Fire Company (6).

Engine 47-5 arrived and crews assisted with a primary search of the apartments on the third floor. Crews also assisted with overhaul of the building.

Lionville volunteers operated on the scene for just over an hour before returning available.
