On Monday evening, August 18th, Engine 47-5 attended a rural water supply drill along with other mutual aid companies, hosted by the West Whiteland Fire Company. The purpose of this drill was to simulate a house fire in a area with no fire hydrants. This requires tankers to shuttle water from a remote site back to the fire scene.

Engine 47-5 along with other tankers made multiple trips from the fill site back to the fire scene to ensure that there was a continuous proper water supply.

Units: Engine 47-5

Mutual Aid: Station 6 (West Whiteland), Engine 48-5 (Glen Moore), Engine 5-5 (East Whiteland), Tanker 52 (Good Will), Tanker 73 (Ludwigs Corner)
