At 10:47 am, Tower 47 was alerted to assist Kimberton Fire Company, along with the Phoenixville Fire Department and Valley Forge Fire Company, on a reported house fire on E. Seven Stars Road, in East Pikeland Township. MICU 64-7 (West End Phoenixville EMS) was first to arrive reporting a working fire. Tower 47 arrived on-scene and assisted with fire ground operations by completing a primary search and assisting in overhaul operations. Lionville Volunteers operated for 2 hours before returning to the station. An additional Engine crew remained on-station to handle any calls in the response area.
