At 9:37pm, Lionville Volunteers were alerted to assist EMS with an auto accident, with entrapment, on Rt. 401 in West Pikeland Township.

Rescue 47, Engine 47-5, and 2 Chief Officers arrived on-scene with 1 patient trapped in their vehicle. Lionville Volunteers worked to quickly free the patient. EMS treated and transported the patient to a local trauma center. Crews assisted with clearing up the accident scene.

Lionville Volunteers operated for just under 40 mins before clearing the scene.
