Large Animal Rescue Training

This past weekend 5 members from the Lionville Fire Company, as part of the Chester County Rescue Task Force, attended a Large Animal Rescue training. Also in attendance were other members of the Rescue Task Force, along with members of regional CART teams (County Animal Response Team).

During this 3-day course, attendees learned: Animal Behavior & Handling, Packaging and moving recumbent large animals, Packaging and lifting large animals, Rescues from mud/water, Trailer overturns/extrication.
