| On Monday, April 22nd, at 11:22 AM, the Lionville and West Whiteland (Station 6) Fire Companies were dispatched to assist East Whiteland (Station 5) on a reported house fire, in the area of Conestoga Road & Valley Hill Road. The first units on the scene advised that it was a detached garage on fire. Due to a lack of hydrants in the area, Engine 47-5 was utilized to help supply water while Engine 4-5 (Malvern) conducted a tanker shuttle.
The crews from Engine 47-5 & Tower 47 assisted with fire suppression, as well as extensive overhaul.
Lionville volunteers operated for 2 1/2 hours before returning available. |
