| At 0809 hours on October 13, 2006, the Lionville Fire Company (47) was dispatched along with Uwchlan EMS (87) to Devon Drive and North Whitford Road in Uwchlan Township for an auto accident with entrapment.
Chief 47 went on scene 3 minutes after dispatch to find a two vehicle accident with one subject entrapped. Rescue 47 arrived on location at 0817 hours and quickly began to stabilize the vehicle and begin extrication. Crews removed both doors on the passenger side of the vehicle and removed the "B" post to extricate the victim. Extrication was complete at 0827 hours.
Once the victim was extricated, EMS transported the patient to the nearest medical facility for treatment. All units cleared the incident scene at 0850 hours. |
