The officers and membership would like to congratulate interior firefighter Brandon Holdan on his completion of the Lionville Fire Company Probationary Program.

New members, of the Lionville Fire Company, begin their journey to become firefighters, with the Fire Company’s Probationary Program. This program introduces “probies” to all the knowledge needed to become firefighters. All new members enter into the probationary program period to learn how the company operates. This process takes a long period of time, and the probies are tested on a large variety of skills and knowledge, including: Company By-laws, SOGs, riding assignments, equipment locations, and fire behavior. In addition to weekly in-house trainings, probationary members are required to pass their National Firefighter I, Vehicle Rescue, and Hazardous Materials certifications. This program requires the participants to be both self-motivated, and dedicated, throughout their many hours of training and learning. Congratulations Brandon, your journey has just begun! Strong Work!

In the Fall, Brandon will be enrolled at Cabrini University Class of 2022!
