Lionville Members Participate in 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb

This past Saturday 9/23, Lionville members Lieutenant Christian Peta, Firefighter Jim McFadden, and Firefighter Alec Bosley (Sykesville Fire Department - Maryland) completed the 1st annual Philadelphia 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Lincoln Financial Field. Participants donned full PPE, including an SCBA to traverse the course designed to replicate the 110 stories of the original 1 and 2 World Trade Center buildings to honor the 343 FDNY Firefighters who died in the line of duty, September 11, 2001.
In its first year, the Philadelphia 911 Memorial Stair Climb raised nearly $40,000 for the FDNY, and 9/11 families.
