Early Morning Car Fire

On Tuesday, July 18th at 3:06 AM The Lionville Fire Company was dispatched to The Pennsylvania Turnpike West Bound at Mile Marker 308.0. Deputy 47 responded and was advised by The Chester County 911 Center that additional calls were now putting the location at 309.2.

Deputy 47 arrived to find a sedan off on the side of the road that was well involved in fire. Engine 47-5 arrived, and crews deployed an attack line and quickly extinguished the fire.

Engine 5-5 (East Whiteland Fire Company) was dispatched to assist for additional manpower.

Lionville Volunteers operated for just over 30 minutes at the scene.
