By Lionville Fire Co.
October 30, 2011

While Tower 47 and Engine 47-5 were operating in Phoenixville, Lionville was alerted to the 600 block of Kimberton Road for a house fire. Engine 47-2 (FF Ora) arrived on scene with a working fire in a 2-story house. Captain 47 (Boyle) assumed "Kimberton Road Command", and began giving orders to the arriving units. Units from East Brandywine and Ludwigs Corner arrived behind Engine 47-2. Crews stretched an attack line to a second floor bedroom that was on fire, and extinguished the same. Quick work was made by the crews inside to extinguish the fire. The fire was placed under control within 15 minutes of the first arriving unit.

Command was terminated at 11:09pm

Units: Engine 47-2, Rescue 47

Mutual Aid: 49, 73, RIT 53
