Uwchlan Township hosted its annual Community Day at Lionville Park on July 10, 2010. The fire company was on hand to demonstrate different fire and rescue techniques.
Set up was a mock house fire for the kids to practice their hose line management abilities. A recruitment table was set up to invite new members to the ranks of the fire company.
The whole fleet of fire apparatus was on hand for the residents of the community to see and touch the fire equipment that the fire fighters use in their day to day operations. After the sun went down at Lionville Park a beautiful fire work display was put on, while fire fighters stood by in case of emergency.
