First Due House Fire

At 3:46pm Lionville Fire Co. was dispatched to the 300 block of Biddle Drive for a reported house on fire. The box alarm consisted of 47, 6, RIT 53, and 87 EMS. Deputy 47 (Chapman) arrived on scene with heavy smoke showing from the second floor. Chief 47 (Holmes) arrived and assume "Biddle Drive Command".
Engine 47-2 (FF B. Edwards) arrived and stretched an attack line to the second floor where they found fire on the Charlie Delta corner. Tower 47 (FF Mennor) laddered the building and provided ventilation on the second floor. The Tower crew then stretched a second line to the fire floor. Engine 6-1 (West Whiteland) arrived and assisted with opening up on the inside. RIT 53 (Fame) setup on side A of the fire building.
The fire was placed under control in 20 minutes from units being dispatch.
